Welcome to Complete Works’ 25th year creating theatre for teenagers.

Born of humble beginnings as a troupe of three players performing excerpts of Shakespeare and poetry to a few secondary school groups, our mission has always been to a create world class theatre company that places the education and cultural development of young people at its heart.

During the past twenty-five years we have witnessed and participated in some of the most significant cultural changes to effect our lives both locally and globally; I point to the power of the internet and the Covid-19 pandemic to name just two. Both, extraordinary and impactful. As curriculums change and teaching methods adjust so too do Complete Works’ multi-talented ensemble of performers, theatre practitioners and teaching artists continue to create adaptive live and on-line performance resources that encourage students’ curiosity, imagination and creativity.

This season, A Midsummer Night’s Dream will tour for younger years and a new production George Orwell’s Animal Farm will be available in Term 3.

Our complete suite of twenty Digital Study Guides, developed with support of the DET Strategic Partnerships Program will be available, and four new Framework of Ideas Workshops will be on call to support teaching of the new for VCE/EAL study design.
