Our Mission

Complete Works is an important creative component of the Victorian English and Arts curriculum, developing and touring live theatre and digital resources for secondary students.

OUR MISSION

CWTC is committed to promoting and enhancing the education and cultural development of young people by learning through the arts.

OUR VISION

To create world class theatre-in-education resources and provide leadership in the sector, nurturing relationships, imagination, education, individuality, opportunity and community.

OUR AIMS

To build creative partnerships with school communities, education organisations and local communities. By ensuring the arts are an integral part of our community we help students to think imaginatively, critically and laterally.

  • To be one of the country's leading theatre-in-education companies.

  • Create artistically excellent work - Students and teachers who participate in our programs are engaged, enriched and challenged by the experience.

  • Opportunities to learn - students and teachers who participate in our program learn, develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours relevant to their lives.

  • Provide leadership in the sector - Develop and promote our role within the Victorian education system as an innovator in our field and a premier arts company, in particular in elevating and promoting BIPOC stories and artists.

  • Access - Improve the opportunities for all sections of metropolitan, regional and rural Victorian school communities to engage in and participate in our programs both live and online.

  • Support and Collaboration - Increase support from funding bodies and sponsors for the development of new works within the school program; strengthen and consolidate links with other arts organisations and bodies.

  • Ensemble - Improve opportunities for arts practitioners to develop and present new works for both school and main-stage programs.

  • Expand reach beyond the education sector to a general public audience.
